A Journey

As I take this new journey (to Ukraine) in life, I hope to keep my family and friends close and involved. ...We must all decide between what is right and what is easy. May God Bless you through your own journey... oh, and don't forget to smile along the way!

Name:
Location: United States

what can I say? I've graduated from East Central University with a degree in Biology, and now, I'm going to spend a couple of years in Ukraine working for the Peace Corps in the Youth Development program. I am a Christian, I love adventure, I love working with kids, I can't wait to have a cat... I'm normal and yet all my friends say I'm anything but... I'm shy at first, but I warm up and can be really outgoing (fun, crazy, but not stupid... well, not usually).

Hey everyone! Hope all is well. I've been here in Chicago having a great time with my family... Food, shopping, just hangin' out! It has all been sooooo great! I love my family so much and feel so blessed to have them! This picture is of my toes (obviously); Mom and I got pedicures together! I also had my eyebrows waxed, and now have a nice breakout going on all over and around my eyebrows! I just really hope that it will be gone by Monday! Time is flying, and I am getting more nervous at the realization that time is short. So far, all I have memorized is Thank You and Good Night in Ukrainian, although, when riding the erail, a lady sitting in front of me had a newspaper that was written in Russian, and I could actually read the words! So, I feel good about that, and I'll just keep working on memorizing words. Well, I guess I will talk to you all later. I guess next time I talk to you, I will actually be in Ukraine. Alright, God Bless!
